As part of our statutory obligation to enforce on tax defaulters, the Niger State Signage and Advertisement Agency (NISSAA) has today continued with her END OF THE YEAR enforcement exercises to checkmate on defaulters who are yet to pay their first party outdoor signage permits.
It is incumbent on you to pay for your outdoor signage fees, levies, and dues as prescribed by the law as NISSAA is not coercive, or selective in its duties that’s why polite approaches are employed in reminding defaulters of their debts to the agency, with records showing businesses who have complied and those who have not.
It is based on these records that the Agency enforce on first party signage exposures, as some individuals and businesses have arrears unpaid for over three years.
The Agency is empowered by law to seal up premises of defaulters, impound properties (Signage Structures) as NISSAA follows sacrosanct on what the law entails
The Agency uses this medium to commend and appreciate corporations, small businesses and persons who have been complying with payment of their Advertisement Tax.
